    Next to the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds, the site had excellent transport links but lacked urban integration. The new neighbourhood thus had to form its own identity. Nearly 400 affordable flats and supplementary uses were created under the guiding principle: City, not settlement!

    Respect for the environment, combined with a bridge structure that is completely free of the ballast of form and shape, designed to the ideal limits of rationality, results in a harmonious solution that connects places, rivers and people. It creates a space of coming together.
