The Old Mill was never a mill. A boarded up shell of a 19th century grainstore, in the heart of Kinsale’s medieval town centre, it is transformed into a public library and exhibition space laid out over 3 levels on a new engineered timber structure hung from the eaves of the existing ruin. A vessel for stories and imagination, the building re-engages its urban context and invites robust conversation.

The new winery is located almost at the center of the estate, adjacent to the Tenuta Guado al Tasso farmhouse. Designed with great respect for the surrounding landscape, the winery has three entrances: one for the grapes, one for visitors, and one for estate guests. This underground building offers numerous advantages, including landscape protection, wine quality, and energy efficiency, achieved thanks to the natural insulation of the grassy roofs.
