    The new hospital in Antwerp is a hinge between docks, park and city. The limited area requires the hospital to be organised vertically. It has a layered structure that is bisected horizontally by interweaving the building with its surroundings.     The new exhibition area in Cherkassy Zoo includes the territory of bears, wolves, and a reservoir for otters built into the visitors’ gallery.
    Unlike classical forms of exhibiting, the project used the principle of immerse exposition.
    After commissioning the attendance of the zoo has increased from 94 thousands visitors in 2016 to 174 thousands in 2017.

    The new sports hall adjoins the Dolní Břežany primary school. It is used for PE classes, and is open to public for sports activities and as a cultural venue. Integrated with surroundings and the public space, it is an attraction and inspiration for the area. The sports surface is 45 × 25 meters, and the grandstand provides seating for 250 spectators.

    The community centre was built by the inhabitants of the refugee camp – together with students of architecture who had developed the design during the previous semester of their studies. The timber structure combines community space and an area of retreat. Walls of different insightfulness hide the dull surrounding of the camp and focus a nice view.

    Crematorium Stuifduin concerns a new crematorium building on a site alongside the main cemetery of Lommel (BE).     The project mainly consists of three functional areas of the ballet school with boarding school and the rehearsal stage of the Stuttgart Ballet, which we interpreted as a coherent organism.     A new urban block of 200m x 100m organises space and brief around a simple diagram onto which a deeper complexity is layered. It is calmly composed in deference to its sensitive context and is arranged orthogonally with the adjoining historic Holy Trinity Church. The design is realised on a modest budget with a simple material palette used in a nimble and resourceful manner.

    Modernization of one of the largest wooden historic buildings in Poland together with its old park. In the cubature of the 100-year-old Sanatorium Gurewicz in Otwock, a modern medical center was designed with a hotel and a hospital part, housing rooms for operating patients, rehabilitation and diagnostics.

Commissioned by the Holy See, it serves the UK’s Belarusian diaspora community established by families of demobilised soldiers after WWII. It is also a lasting memorial to the victims of the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
