The construction of the Saint Pope John Paul II Church is a unique story, as almost two decades passed from when the intention to build the church was expressed and the laying of the foundation stone to the consecration of the church. The entire process was organized by the local community while the construction was largely funded by donations.

A New Market Hall. Kortrijk town centre had missed out on the major international chain stores. To catch up, it was essential to build something new. An old monastery and a school were able to be demolished to make room for a large-scale operation.

A sheep stable for a population of about 80 sheep for the city of Almere. The stable is designed with a homogeneous cross-section. The construction and cladding is made of wood. Only the curved girders are made of steel. The stable serves also as a public building.
