The Kiosk Kirchberg is a public facility designed to welcome a new generation of visitors and users in the Park Central at the heart of the European and Financial District in Luxembourg. The 7x7 m concrete cube includes a snack bar and a public platform offering a novel panoramic view to the recently created urban landscape. Referring both to the tradition of architectural follies and the visual language of street art, the architects opted for a provocative use of color, boldly painted on the naked concrete. Despite its modest size, the Kiosk has become a landmark in the city and a popular destination for families.
