    The residential project Resource Rows in Copenhagen demonstrates a radical, replicable recycling approach to materials that significantly cuts construction’s carbon footprint. Without adding cost the 92 homes dwelling has achieved a total CO2 reduction of 29% on building level and saved 463 tonnes of waste according to LCA.

    ANA designed a flexible three dimensional housing structure with a maximum freedom of the individual layout. The buyers of the apartments in The SketchBlock were able to fill in the dwellings freely in size, position, layout and finishing. The Sketchblock has been chosen as Best Building of the Year 2019 in the category ‘private living experience’.

    The location of two residential buildings in terms of urban planning marks the location of the ancient shore of the Daugava River. The composition of the buildings is designed to free the visual perception of the urban space from the perspectives of pedestrian’s, rising the most massive parts of the buildings on columns above the ground.

    The building is in an area at the edge of the historical center of the old part of Giulianova.

    The lot, located on the slope,marks the crossroads between Via Gramsci and Via Cesare Battisti.
    On the Via Gramsci side the volume of the residences stand out from the cantilever; this volume bore the northeast corner, marking the crossroads of the two main roads.

    The project organises 105 senior citizens housing into three volumes spread out, on top of a double-height plinth containing a Health Centre and a Senior Community Centre.
    The building’s common spaces help to create a dynamic community.
    The mixed-use of the program enable to preserve the existing social network of the neighbourhood.
