The New School of Architecture is built on a triangular courtyard at the heart of the KTH campus and its protected historical environment. The building is made of cast-in-situ concrete with facades of CorTen steel and curved glass: six floors from the ateliers and workshops at entrance level to the open terraces on the top.

Situated on a lake, the Fishing Hut is a shelter and tackle store for anglers that come to fish there. It is designed to be as open as possible when in use and closed when not. The simple, barn-like form and cladding echo the vernacular of modern agricultural buildings. An array of shutters open to reveal a golden timber interior that is reflected in the lake.

A house located in the middle of a huge plot on the hill near the river. The main inspiration was the road which shaped the entire building – its floors, walls and ceilings. We lifted “the road” and “wrapped it around” the interiors. Then we brought it back to the garden level, leading it through the steep hill to reach the river.

This dense and complex building in Paris’s 20th arrondissement ,was recently completed by two Parisian architecture firms Chartier Dalix and Avenier Cornejo. Located just above the city’s eight-lane ring road, in a rapidly changing neighbourhood the building combines a kindergarten with 240 studio apartments for young workers.
