The former machinery hall of 1912 for the A.M. Luther’s Furniture Factory has been renovated and converted into a contemporary working space. The character of the industrial building was preserved and emphasized by spatial articulation.

The new sports hall adjoins the Dolní Břežany primary school. It is used for PE classes, and is open to public for sports activities and as a cultural venue. Integrated with surroundings and the public space, it is an attraction and inspiration for the area. The sports surface is 45 × 25 meters, and the grandstand provides seating for 250 spectators.

Transformation of former Nursing school into 43 new apartments and rowhouses. The building volumes are principally unaltered. The new apartments are visually and constructively informed by the constraints of the existing construction, creating spaces with architectural qualities connecting the present day building to its history.

More than a building, the crematorium is a site that accompanies one on the journey of farewell. The residential project Resource Rows in Copenhagen demonstrates a radical, replicable recycling approach to materials that significantly cuts construction’s carbon footprint. Without adding cost the 92 homes dwelling has achieved a total CO2 reduction of 29% on building level and saved 463 tonnes of waste according to LCA.

A new urban block of 200m x 100m organises space and brief around a simple diagram onto which a deeper complexity is layered. A compact form to the west of the site compresses the core functions of the brief and thus releases space to the east allowing for a quadrangle of trees on real ground.
