We are afraid of what we don't know. One such thing is the future. This fear should be eliminated by showing what is possible. This project tries to get closer to the vision of fully autonomous architecture. It shows how about a world with fully automated buildings when we learn to use technology with awareness rather than treat it as a substitute for our minds.
In response to the problem fully autonomus facility was created in the heart of Warsaw. It performs the function of supporting the education in developing the mind of people of all ages based on the the Theory of Consciousness Development Education. The unit set the goals to make conscious use of the environment and human nature, improve the efficiency of the education system, and fight addictions and diseases of the mind. It presents daily interaction with technology as an opportunity to better understand and consciously use it. The means by which this was accomplished are full automation and independance of the facility. Main focus was on achieving the building's energy independence. Many well-known solutions have been used. The most important of them are: photovoltaic modules, batteries, rainwater storage tanks and a heat pump. Autonomy is supported by an off-grid system, which includes a power converter and an island inventory. In addition to it full independent operation it is necessary to gains automation of management and user service. It is possible due to the creation of a Building Twin witch is digital representation of a physical building. It bridges the physical and digital worlds through sensors that collect real-time data within the physical environment in order to make effective decisions.\nSmart solutions have been applied to automated locker rooms, libraries, storage rooms, server rooms, media rooms and many others. Each room is reflected in a virtual model which makes decisions on facility management based on artificial intelligence. Sensors sensitive to human temperature and movement were used for this. Of course, a human can take control at any time using a smartphone. The cleaning and waste disposal system has also been digitized. Special devices connected to a virtual model were used and gain its own space in the building. This aproach to architecture shows that technology alone cannot solve the problems, but it indisputably initiates changes. In order for them to be positive, they must be introduced simultaneously with the development of the human mind and self-awareness.
