Universal concert center

Bulgaria is a small country.Why such a building?Based on the indisputable fact that in all times, among all peoples, everywhere in the world, at the basis of any significant and lasting personal, community or national achievement or victory, above all there are spiritual powers and values.

The building of the music center is devided into 8 levels: 6 above ground and 2 underground. There are two main functional areas,organized around two halls – an opera theater and a concert hall.The highlight of the entire building is the “Music street” running through the middle of the building at elevation ±0,00 and creating an atrium space with overhead lighting between the two main volumes.Various performances,exhibitions,areas for small performances and recreation are organized in it.It’s an active point of all-day activities. Already upon entering,the visitors find himself in a pictures and lovely place with shops,exhibitions and other activities.The building is designed with a suspended facade of active sun protection panels, shaped like pipe elements of a musical organ, arranged vertically in front of the main facade of the building. An analogy with the oscillogram of a sound wave is also sought.\"Museum of Music\" - located on two floors with an internal staircase, where the visitor has the opportunity to view an exhibition of various types of instruments, listen to music of various genres on headphones provided at the entrance to the museum, as well as watch a short film dedicated to of the music.5 lines of public transport pass through the neighborhood, which makes the place accessible and communicative.The roof is accessible by means of two elevators and two stairwells, plus two more panoramic elevators. On the front is a green roof with walking paths,restaurant with a view, as well as a music cafe. Areas with photovoltaic elements are used, as well as solar collectors for hot water.One project with many possitives – cultural events,energy free and beautiful architecture. And most importantly - at the center of it all is man and his experience.
