The Reflected City

The report that the city has with the sea becomes of paramount importance. The idea is to regain that relationship through the project of " city reflected ," to create an alternative in an urban sea idea , where the soil and the sea combine together to create the fabric on which the city can express themselves .

I Chosen to confront this project because I gave the possobilità to tackle new themes and contaminate the new material. Designing on a continuously moving surface, the sea, makes you think of a different architecture, think differently. It is also a responsibility, though for exercise, imagine an architecture that fits into such a fragile landscape. This is fascinating, brings you to overcome your limits, increase your sensitivity. It feels explorers, in a place that you do not know, and that hides its signs in the eyes less experienced. marine biologists, engineers, plumbers, engineers, maritime works, ephemeral architecture, wood and steel, the sailing boats, are only some of the images that pass through my mind when I think of this trip. Design on the water is a unique experience, painful, but I was filled with the soul of a new world. Through this experience I was able to explore the theme of the drawing, there trying to combine the materials in detail in order to achieve my desires, and perhaps this was the most important exercise, because it is in the drawing that the idea, the feeling , the emotion becomes architecture, through the clever play of composition between different materials and forms related to each other by the different laws of physics, chemistry, static and dell'emozioni. Do a project for me is always a great adventure for my thesis I have done everything to live to 100 by 100, and give my best to think of something that could get closer to reality, and to allow me to improve as an architect and as a man.
