The project is the new domicile for the State antiquarian agency, RAÄ, and the State Exhibition Agency, Riksutställningar at Visby, Gotland. The building is located at the former military compound, A7. The institutions share the building but are separated in the interior by a linear entry hall.
The theme of the project is prefab concrete. The facades are all made out of very large sandwich panel that have an intricate stone like texture that is cast into the surface. The interior has panels of concrete but in contrast to the exterior these are polished as terrazzo. The floors are in situ cast concrete. The material theme for the offices is plywood. The two courtyards have glazed facades entirely clad in Larch tree windows.
