Located on the periphery of the city, the complex organizes its functional volumes around efficiency and clarity of flow. The administrative block anchors the ensemble, introducing openness and shared space within an industrial landscape. Voids between volumes become halls and offices, while a central patio and atrium draw natural light deep inside. The material language is calm and robust, translating the logic of production into a coherent spatial order that bridges human and technological scales.
The main challenge was to create a sense of identity and humanity in a site without context. The design merges industrial precision with the spatial generosity of civic architecture. Utilitarian zones are arranged for operational clarity, while the administrative block invites light and interaction. The facades echo the surfaces of truck trailers — a reference to the site’s industrial life — refined through a gradient of detail, from coarse at the operational edge to delicate where people inhabit.
The structure combines monolithic and precast reinforced concrete with steel, ensuring stability, flexibility, and efficient spans. Main facades are clad with standard insulated sandwich panels of varied texture, giving a precise yet restrained industrial character. The administrative block employs an additional custom perforated metal screen that filters sunlight and prevents overheating, while the central patio enhances daylight and natural ventilation. The use of durable, low-maintenance materials embodies the project’s commitment to longevity, clarity, and environmental balance.
