The architectural concept includes revitalization and development of the Dukes Castle Mazowiecki in Czersk. The aim of the project is to revive, improvement and development of functionality, aesthetics, comfort use and quality of life of the developed Castle. One of the main design assumptions was introduction of a new pavilion in the Castle area.
Revitalization project of the Castle in Czersk along with the development of the courtyard meets all design criteria assumed at the stage of starting work on object. The main assumption of the work was to increase the functional capabilities of the Castle and tidying up the existing ones as well as increasing the awareness of tourists about monument, which is undoubtedly the Castle of the Dukes of Mazovia. The project provided for the introduction of new functions that correspond contemporary needs, while preserving the historic character of the place. Thanks to the deep analysis of the Castle while processing the available inventory object into a 3d model, and conservation guidelines, transformed all ideas involved in the project of revitalization, adaptation and development of a historic building. The cubature objects introduced in accordance with the original assumptions concepts and conservation doctrine do not dominate the object in any way and even bring out the values ??and complement the surrounding historic fabric. They are guided by the principle of minimal interference in the structure of the object, the design a relatively easy change of the internal layout is provided for the change needs features in the future, or otherwise, all applied layers they are relatively easy to remove. This study is the basis for drawing the following conclusions: 1. The Castle of the Mazovian Dukes is a unique example of architecture defensive, in the Gothic style at the turn of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. Which really stands out against the background of the landscape of the village of Czersk and is characterized by exceptional values cultural and historical. 2. Developed project despite the introduction of an extension to it contemporary service functions, it retains the role of one of the most unique defensive monuments in the country.
