Its contemporary architecture and refined façade treatment allow the structure to stand out within the existing urban context, creating a new landmark for the area and the entire city — a goal that has already been achieved within just two years of its operation. Inside, residents enjoy spacious apartments designed to maximize comfort and functionality. The building also integrates commercial, business, and hospitality functions, transforming Porto Milena into a key asset along the Velika Plaza (Long Beach) and a popular stop for many tourists.

Given its proximity to Ulcinj’s iconic Port Milena canal, the project required exceptional attention to both design and execution. The location presented significant architectural and technical challenges, including the need to respect the natural setting, integrate harmoniously with the waterfront, and preserve the character of the area. Through careful planning and precise detailing, these challenges were successfully overcome, resulting in a building that stands out for its refined craftsmanship and thoughtful design.

The building is constructed using a reinforced concrete skeletal system, ensuring structural stability and flexibility in the organization of interior spaces. The façade is clad with HPL panels featuring various textures and tones, creating a dynamic visual composition that reflects the play of light and the maritime character of its surroundings. From the very beginning, the vision behind the project was to create a landmark building—one that would not only enrich the immediate context but also elevate the overall standard of tourism and urban development in Ulcinj. Today, Porto Milena fulfills that vision, embodying a perfect synthesis of aesthetic refinement, structural integrity, and coastal identity, while contributing to the ongoing transformation of the city’s architectural landscape.
