Oak Grove of Road Veterans' The purpose of this project was to construct both an attractive rest place and a memorial for road veterans by the main artery of Lithuanian roads, using modern building materials and forms of expression. There has been installed an oblong shelter with a rest area that is dominating in the site and is vertically crossing a triangleshaped green zone. Together with a stone it is forming a 'swing' composition: in the southern part of the site it looks like the stone is pressing the shelter, and in the northern part it seems as if the shelter is hanging above the slope. The viewpoint that has been installed there overlooking a landscape of the area.
We use natural materials like concrete, metal, wood. Surfaces both ground and buildings have graphic and tactile qualities and are long lasting and easy to maintain. Size of the site 1.700 m²
