The wine production network was an economic industry for the local community of Cyprus. The project NETworking NETworks negotiate with a contemporary production network and proposed expanding the potential into centralities and revising the production-processing relationship focusing on the distribution - management - production relationship.
Networking Network intervenes on the various scales proposing through the existing dynamics in order to strengthen the traditional wine network, so the economy and society at the same time. Having proposed the autonomous centralities, strategically focuses on the spatial solution of the node which programmatically managing the dynamic of promotions and projection for the new production network. The program entities were influenced by the dynamics of the proposed network and the existing intervention area. It is important to note that the selected node-village from ancient times (Bronze Age) had the role of management of the raw material of copper and wine and then their promotion since this is revealed by archeological sites had found there which that fact establish the geographical importance of the proposed node. At the node-urban scale the aim was to promote the memory of the place through the promotion of the archeological countries that come to coexist with the new program entities. To achieve this, an inter-network are created with programmatic entities that coexist and through visual transparency give the visitor the option to continue to experience the space by choice. Strategically, for this reason, the programmatical entities in relation to the new wine production network are retreating, immersing them in the landscape, leaving the building units to mark the archeological monuments in the area to restore the memory of the site. At the same time, marches are created for users (scheduled and unplanned) where after their first contact with the space and the restoration of memory and the historicity of the space through the various marches, he comes in contact with the new production, letting him choose whether to participate or not. Programmatically the inter-network negotiates with entertainment, promotion, information and leisure activities. All of those co-exist hierarchically and under the general concept for the promotion of the memory of the space and the proper function of the new proposed network.
