Momentary city-project of temporary settlement-solution on crisis situation

The aim of the work is to find and justify architectural, structural, and urbanistic solutions that would help address the problem of finding temporary shelters for people who are in an immediate need of one.

The temporary city is a settlement unit, bearing urbanistic, town-like features. It is connected to the city and is prepared to host people in immediate need of shelter.\nMANIFESTO: 1. Ensuring a safe place to live, respect for dignity, privacy for every human being 2. Respect for nature and perception of climate problems. Using solutions energy-saving and renewable. 3. Connections to an existing city or other surroundings. Participation of inhabitants in creating Momentary City. 4. Re-use of materials, prefabrication. Use of modular solutions. 5. Re-usability of the city. Development of degraded and unused areas, increasing their value or use of land for temporary solutions (e.g. mass events) 6. City life cycle design. Less form design, instead of process design 7. Staging solutions and standards due to the city's life expectancy 8. Adaptation of the structure to: climatic conditions, local law, residents cultural background etc. 9. Simple rules for generating new cities, established algorithm-step by step 10. Providing housing as part of a coherent policy, pro-social housing in the adjacent city
