Love with Saws (l'amour avec des scies)

This is a project of a metal sawmill in a spruce forest, an active ingredient in an environment. It is developed on a geography, in a questioning of the industrial process, but also of the economy in which it is implanted, as well as of the "know-how" it induces.

The project approach is established in two stages; the development of an industrial prototype based on the geographical components of the territory and the injection of this prototype into its environment.\nIt will be a question of taking an economic counter-footing; because an alternative to established industries exists. The first intention of the project is to produce an industry consistent with the available resource, its production, its flow will be calibrated on the capacity of this resource, and therefore greatly reduced if we compare the activities The underlying idea is to reconnect production to its resource, and thus to its territory; to consider this activity as a territorial potential.\nWe will take the part of questioning the industrial process, to prefer a flexible and editable spatial model (opposed to a fixed rationalized existing one). This choice is inherited from the search for a potential of specificity of the produced objects, and the connection between the material and the human resource, to aim a new dynamic of "savoir-faire". The plan is organized around a relatively non-mobile element: the main saw, the rest of the space is released, to allow a mobility of machines and tools, to make the sawmill adaptable to different situations and different commands\nThe industrial object described before is developed in response to a geography, to produce a resource, its vocation is to be injected into this geography, to bring about a dynamic on the territory. I fled the global design of an intelligent system, to concentrate on producing an active element, which aims to initiate a territorial dynamic.\nProduction is (or must be) a manifestation of culture. The culture also passes and especially by what the society does not show, but which is necessary to its operation.
