The Life Science Research Center containing 150 specific researching labs and a science library was placed in Debrecen on the 'Nagyerdei' Campus, at the end of the Egyetem Avenue, beneath the monumentalically historical main building planned by Flóris Korb. The integrating development of the Agricultural, Medical and Science Faculties specializes on genetic researching and education.
The gate respond on the urban axis, the foyer on the scale of the main building, the comb-formed disposition and the matrix arrangement of the laboratories on the functional demands. The spatial tension between the library located separately and the laboratory building defines a field of force in the campus court.
