The aim of this project is to fit in the time we live in and this is the time of the new digital age. Every day we wake up and spend our days in a world full of technologies and we need them and their innovations even more. This is an urban campus placed in developing territory provided with science and industry showing new opportunities of living and learning.
The main idea of the university complex is to create a closed system based on life - learning - research activities - realization, which will further make the campus self-supporting and financially independent. Linking business leaders and technology entrepreneurs with training students is the newest and most efficient method for their successful realization and ensuring good working staff of employers. The master plan of the project includes the main academic building, outdoor spaces and conections, additional buildings for research, residence building, training and business. The academic program of the project is oriented towards courses that follow the latest trends in technology and design. Some of them are nanotechnology, bioengineering, robotics, industrial design, computer science, biophysics and more. They provide students with the opportunity to study topics related to the latest scientific innovations in modern laboratories, workshops and large interactive spaces that encourage global thinking. Open and common spaces are designed to make creative collisions, and the mix of various courses - unexpected results and cooperations. Specific programs give a privilege to exercises and reduce the need for lecture halls. Modular furniture in turn creates flexible spaces to serve for individual student groups. The main academic building is designed for the training of 1,500 students and 280 teachers. They all have access to many green areas, roof gardens and recreation zones. These spaces turn the university building into a full of life place that is surrounded by thinking and working young people. In the design of the academic building are used innovative photovoltaic glass panes, photovoltaic roof panels and a second skin from moving perforated lamellas that will provide the specific amount of sunlight for the different spaces. All these features present the complete idea of a high-tech building and complex that will give innovations that can change the world and will be a bright representative of the new digital age.
