The project focuses on the human impact of architecture and how through space humans can mentally be healed. Healing Spaces is a series of voids connected where the experience from inside-out, light-darkness; in nature, ground, sky, to smells, sounds, water and temperatures create narrations that work as prophylaxis to our well-being.
An Important role plays the creation of narration, which is different for everyone because of the sequence of spaces that are experienced. Different volumes are proposed as “organs” where each function is complex as an “organism” with other units. The functional connection is reinforced by the physical connection created by a system of connections in the landscape. All these elements promote mental curiosity and stimulate the desire to experience space as well as reinforce the presence of sensory senses in human existence. The project combines the science of health and well-being with architecture and tries to interpret its principles in designed spaces. Major role plays the creation of narratives that are differently perceived and translated from everyone because of the sequence of spaces that are experienced. The aim was the creation of a fragmented unit to avoid long corridors - encountered in any project so far presented. A short link is made with the concept of "village" where a continuation of the inhabited area is felt, rather than the intervention of a single unit. During this topic it is expected to be fully argued that space can cure and educate man and his mental state. Architectonic elements will be created that promote mental curiosity and stimulate the desire to experience the spaces as well as reinforce the presence of senses in the human existence. Mental improvement will occur and become present by architectural and natural elements that are sometimes more apparent. It is expected to explore the idea of narration in architecture by the creation of narrative through architectural elements as well as to manifest the relationship with light in creation of apotheosis in the relationship between space and human. In the taxonomy of the external spaces “tiles” will be listed which during their implementation in the spatial composition will try to change form and adapt to the project as well as to reinforce the feeling of spatial atmospheres. For the reinforcement of the sensorial relationship, additional spatial elements are going to stimulate the sense of interaction and reinforce it.
