It´s a proposal that is understood as A possibility of creating an architectural urban place that transcends its own uses and that with the synergies create a desired common place, of pride and contribution by all, adding the life that really exists in that place.
The proposal seeks to solve problems of different scales: From the point of view of the town-port relationship, it is proposed to reintegrate the following points: - The management of road traffic derived from port activity in urban areas. - The consideration of the visual impact of port facilities and infrastructures for a better integration with the landscape and the population. - The need for adequate connections in the urban area. - The opening of the port space for the enjoyment of the coastline. The regeneration of the old to create the new can serve as a motto to understand the new work, barely an umbrella or a shadow. The lightness, the transparency, to exist just enough to give relevance to what it houses: the boats, the people, the place. The inclined plane is always such a good finder. It is a simple inverted hull that by repeating or fractioning itself has no end, it could continue to grow or be less forever. The proposal raises its head, it is one more that integrates and contributes to its place of confluence. - Waves, ... of decks - Continuity of the Alameda - Continuity towards the beach... Its life, its uses are for itself, but are also shared as a scene and as an activity of all. Transparency to exist just enough and elegantly catch the content, the continent might not even be there. It is an umbrella, or many umbrellas, and more than there could be, or a shadow. Each theoretical piece is a part of a single common piece, which naturally assumes its uses, which could be those or others and animate urban life, add small scales of use looking for a common critical mass that animates the place. The structure helps to clean the envelope, although some new concrete caryatids assume the horizontal efforts and become characters that once again add up, forming a present group allowing the technique to shine and are the project. The installations are there without being there, like a good referee who allows the game to develop well.... All the details intersect and form part of a whole. This allows us to propose a reading understood as a capture of that which moves, as the presence of the contingents, as a continuous allusion.
