"Eroto-Mechanics"

Serviced office is a flexible office area that can be rent for a period of time, by an individual or a company. The prostitution program is merged into the building concept in order to bring a new social order in working environment and generally a cultural breakthrough in Krakow 2066.

I selected two contrasting environments, first being the informal world of prostitution and second the offices of the formal world. I needed to draw a space where these two worlds could come together and work as individuals in a non-provocative way. I also want to express my disposition here that work does not have to be strict or ostensibly proper. There is a difference between being serious and being demure. I am a hyper-active and spontaneous character and I can’t be thinking of how to speak or how to act and how to dress all the time. So I am designing a world where architectural propositions are the tool to create a new cultural breakthrough. I want to show that the interesting thing it is not about revealing the full extent of a building or a person but showing indications and imagining the rest. Sexuality can be applicate upon many different regulations. A staircase for the common eye is simply an element of transposition from one space to another. For me it is a mechanism that allows the user to acquire different perspectives of space. After all, life is about how we perceive and experience the world.
