Depurative dispositives at Sao Paulo is a theoretical intervention with different scales in the informal community Jardim Paraná, in São Paulo, inserted in the natural reserve "Serra da Cantareira". The scales act at infrastructural level, at public space and in private uses.
The conflict in Jd. Paraná is a very common problem in the suburbs of SouthAmerica's macropolis, disgusting housing's conditions, vs an ecological problem. After a sociological, orographic and housing analysis of the territory, four action strategies are proposed. A-Equipping with water supply and sanitation networks with alternative treatment systems in situ. B-Activating empty spaces to be assumed as a public space and avoid speculation within the community.C- Boosting the local culture. And D-preserving botanical biodiversity (both, in the use of native flora and in the use of invasive species of the Atlantic Forest, for building systems of the proposal) All of this is concluded in three programs: A water infrastructure with on-site alternative sewage treatment. Cultural spaces, starred by three local situations that demand space: a syncretic religious cult *Umbanda* which demands rite and dance space, evangelical church (populist cults common in Brazil) which is a kind of anchor for inhabitants in territories with lack of state, demands cult and media space, *Funk Carioca* music emerged in the 90s in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, requires spaces to potentiate the music industry, media and party spaces. “Wet dispositives”, a reflection on the use of public space and the daily use of water, the water devices of houses less than 30 m2 are removed, after that they can use community water places in spaces of potential public use in the community. The typology of the project is developed in two little streets of the community. A linear element supports water networks and crosses the spaces of the community where the water is treated. The cultural spaces are located on the stream, where the purifications of the separative networks of water end, there will be the meeting of two completely different religious cults, the FUNK music shows, evangelical masses and a musical recording space. The architectural proposal is built with bamboo and eucalyptus woods, invasive species for the flora of the Atlantic Forest of *Serra da Cantareira*.
