The project seeks to re-examine and challenge the model of necessity program for public equipment in the city of Luanda (Rangel) in the face of its problematics and the valuation of the vernacular construction in the face of technology and search for the identity surrounding the informal reality (Reimagining Informalities).
The cultural pavilion berimbau seeks to manifest not only from the technical solution of an architectural project but is starting with the purpose of praising and reflecting on the valuation of a future architecture with a combination of constructive techniques traditional together with technology since its conception at the formal and aesthetic spatial level and above all functional looking at the spatial dynamics and social problems and possible solution and future of an architecture in Luanda (Angola). However, it also aims to meet the site according to the needs in question and identity in the functional context and the pavilion has three distinct areas of fair and wind , recreational and educational the areas were carefully chosen according to the dynamics of the users and in order to motivate creative and educational actions and give space worthy informal and both formal sales , which is one of the frequent activities on site.
