The diploma thesis is focused on an urban and architecture complement of a corner block structure. The mixed-use building is an extension of surrounding school building and restores the local character by public and housing function.
The neighboring elementary school building is for children of the 1st - 4th grade, with a total capacity of 450 children. The school does not have any facilities for after-school activities. The absence of space for these activities was the reason for my proposal. I extend school facility to the new after-school childcare centre (16 playrooms) and collective housing for teachers (15 apartments). These two parts are service-separated but together create one building complex - The school court.
