Commercial and office building is located in Riga, Terbatas street 30, on corner of Terbatas and Lacplesa streets. Building is located in UNESCO World Culture and Nature heritage territory. Buildings around are built mostly in the period of art nouveau in beginning of 20th century. New building was designed following existing block's perimetral housing principle. Also it's façades composition and detail intensity was designed to harmonize with surrounding buildings. Tower is used as corner accent, which is characteristic to building structure in Riga's center.
Floor plans was designed according to client's assignment & in basement are located technical rooms and car parking lot for 20 cars with drivein from Lacplesa street. In first and second floors are situated public marketing premises & twostorey clothing shop 'ZARA' with entrance from Terbatas street. Shop's floors and basement is connected with elevator. Office rooms are located in third till sixth floor. Entrance in office rooms is located in underpass from Lacplesa street. Most of the partition walls are from framefree glass. Every office have own small terrace. On the roof are located technical rooms and big terrace for 6th floor office. Because building have deep rooms, all outer walls are from glass, from floor till ceiling.
Building facade's finish is from rock & granite and hanged aluminium facade systems with tinted glass. Column, covering and overhang's finish is from plastified aluminium composite material cartridge. Courtyard's facade finish is with plaster. Building's constructional scheme & metal frame and reinforced concrete covering plates (thickness & 120mm). Staircase have bearing reinforced concrete walls. Other building's outer walls are hanged. First and second floor interior design was made by ZARA company designers. This project was exposed in 9th International Architecture Exhibition 2004 in La Biennale di Venezia by Latvian Architecture union.
