The project reconsiders the current housing governed by the rules of the market. It is inserted in a rural where a collective habitat is proposed between cooperative members, building and territory. The project fights the environmental crisis, from construction to renewable energy generation.
There is a willingness to understand the fact of inhabiting a rural territory in which the references in this type of place are different from what we are used to when we work in the city.\nBuilding or rebuilding the topography has been a fundamental of the project. This construction of the topography is necessary to make the building possible. The building itself can become topography and this is the most interesting part, it is the moment when the building becomes landscape.\nThe project consists of these intermediate spaces facing the landscape and protected by the building. It is an operation to excavate, extract, bring to the surface lines of the site, roads, wall vestiges and jointly, extend, deploy, launch on that same location the lines of the new program, lines of activity, flow, movement...\nIt has been tried to find a collective structure that starts from individual units. What makes the system interesting is the interdependence that exists between the different units. Pieces are connected diagonally whichs allows the entire house to be ventilated and communicate the exterior space that faces south and the patio to the north that gives access to the common spaces between houses. In all the variants, the crossed rooms are maintained, as well as the bathroom and kitchen wet rooms. The viability of the system relies on the cooperation of the individuals that inhabit it.\nPerhaps the term that fits the proposal is reversibility. Reversibility in the opening system, which allows the different variants of the system. Through the sliding of a door-wall, the house grows, but also decreases. The construction of the ephemeral, the houses, allows the eviction of the territory, maintaining exclusively what already belongs to it and which represents another layer in the history of the place.\nWhat I consider most important in this specific situation where there is a lack of supplies, is the fact of rethinking the systems to which we are accustomed. Turn the problem of absence into a solution. Always looking for the greatest possible efficiency of the different systems.
