As a project, Cinis focuses on the sacral phenomenons of the architecture in the constantly secularising contemporary world that surrounds us.
Goethe said: ‘’Colors are light’s suffering and joy’’\nAs the surfaces of the Cinis-space are pitch black, the colors are being reflected only by it's visitors.\nThe aim of the project is to focus on only couple of senses that we use, while moving around the constructed environment, especially sacral spaces. That explains the dark surfaces and carefully examined use of light. Regarding the directions and symmetry, it does not use the hierarchic elements of sacral architecture. Cinis has two entrances, so that the visitors cross and respect each other. The building has inspiration from other sacral buildings and it is not trying to fight against its designers experiences, on the contrary, it uses the elements that are proved to work well by adding something more.\nCinis represents an off-grid type of building. Besides being timeless and primitive, that allows it to be also logistically easy to handle. In this approach, its site is situated in front of the Pavilion de l'Arsenal, which is one of the main architecture museum in Paris.
