We currently live in time, which is best described with words as constant progress, rush, technology and digitalisation. Internet, has caused, that the whole world was suddenly laid in the palms of our hands. And that brings us to topic of my master thesis: How to fight against internet addiction and how the spatial architecture can influence the treatment
An important starting point is the choice of location in nature, since it contributes greatly with its positive effects to the treatment and program, which includes everything from the integrated treatment of individuals to the selfsufficiancy and cooperation with the local community. 1. A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO TREATMENT The key importance in a holistic approach is the location in a healthy and clean environment, access to homegrown and quality food, and the possibility of diversified recreation and relaxation. 2. FORMING A COMMUNITY with program and architectural design Creating a community with Internet addicts is very important, as this are mostly individuals who feels incomprehensible and isolated. Through the program and architectural design of the community, addicts can reconnect with eachother and feel understood and accepted. 3. THERAPEUTIC PROGRAM .The contact between the basic natural elements and the transmission of positive effects on the user provides a properly inserted and thoughtful architecture. 3.1 THERAPIES ON THE SOIL - space for community and group therapies 3.2 THERAPIES ON WATER - space for group and individual therapies 3.3 THERAPIES ON AIR IN THE HEART OF THE TREETOPS- space for individual therapies 4. ARCHITECTURE DESIGN AND RELATION TO THE NATURE When designing an architecture in nature, the most important is the connection with it, its contact with the ground as well as just opening or closing the building. Through program allocation in space, architecture becomes the most important link between man and its surroundings as it dictates the way of life in it. 5. LIVING IN THE NATURE Accommodation facilities, in which three addicts are placed together, are located in the immediate vicinity of the community space. The program concept of the objects is well thought out and conceived for the purpose that addicts are being all the time or maximally possible exposed to nature and its impact. Programs are therefore interlinked with a covered and open part, which successfully combines both smooth communication, airy feel and the expansion of living space outward.
