BEYOND BOUNDERIES

“BEYOND BOUNDERIES” is the expression and of rural or suburban abandoned areas. Its aim is to fill the vacuum and remedy real and imaginary wounds. On the one hand, a landscape that polluted by various interventions done by revenue induced construction and on the other hand, humankind both as accomplice and victim.

The building is made from a visible structure of bamboo, by a system of fastenings of cord and knots. The bare structure creates four grids for each façade. Four surfaces that form an intense vertical passage that is developed as if it were a city. A stratified city where each element is placed according to the cyclic passage of the sun. a building that operates on four different spatial sequences; zero level the connective area, green spaces and gardening areas; residential areas, the relationship between the internal floors and the living areas is 2:1,find their development in an open space, intended as a place to develop a residential park. Where the living space and the public areas mixes. An intermediate floor and a communal area interrupt the residential area. The double level differentiates it from the other floors. The bridges to the towers start from this floor, in this way there is a single route goes through the entire structure until meeting up with the next. Molded tapered trunks that house helical staircases connect the different floors. This project disassociates itself from the surrounding architecture, with its form, building material and purpose. Transparency, not in reference to the building materials, is the central character of this project. Emptiness substituted by prospect which becomes an integral part of the project. The landscape becomes a dynamic part of an architecture “BEYOND BOUNDERIES” an architecture without walls, without windows without doors.
