The Observation Tower for the visitors of the Biogradska Gora National Park is part of an international development cooperation for sustainable tourism. It is the first highrising pure timberstructure in Montenegro and so far a highlight for advanced sustainable design and engineering. Besides creating a landmark for the park it was a major task to empower the local skills of carpentry and to transfer most uptodate knowhow in designing and constructing timber structures.
