The idea was to design a building that is addressing to its metropolitan environment in order to establish relationships and intensifies it's local qualities.
To try to answer the question of what would be a metropolitan architecture in the context of the 'arc Lemanique' I chosed to understand, reinterpret and updates these theories. By paying attention to urban issues and relations between metropole and architecture, it helps to ask questions such as that of the architectural scale, the relationship to the context, of the implementation in the ground, in my case in a significant topography, of the importance of the facades ... Finally it helps to understand how a building can create dialectical relations in an environment increasingly urbanized and that we call metropolis. However that anchorage in an urban reality does not prevents to undertake to do an architecture that pursue the discipline ideal of autonomy and that is part of a continuity paradigm.\nI did this project to examine the potential of an architecture that meets the metropolitan question in the establishment of dialectical relations.
