Adaptation of the existing inn - Suli Han in a hotel

As everywhere in the world that the cultural heritage of a country is the most sought part of the tourists, so is the Old Bazaar in the city of Skopje. Although the surrounding area and the inner part of the bazaar offer a sufficient number of hotels and motels, it is still difficult to point out a single one that will embody the visitor with the surrounding space.

Sli Han represents one of the cultural monument landmarks of Skopje, North Macedonia. The operation of Suli Han as a hotel with accompanying spaces in contemporary conditions goes through unavoidable demands, which will inevitably make it successful and will fulfill the visitors' expectations. In terms of intervention, the development of this project has continued by maintaining a balance between freedom and limitation. Thus the goal has been achieved but also the current originality, as much as it is, has been preserved. Primary research: Analysis on the ground. Secondary research: Analysis of successful concepts realized around the world. The proposed new interventions have been made gradually with the timely development of the project. Suli Han is thought to be more than fit to offer visitors as much as direct experience as possible. The adaptation of Suli Han in a hotel with accompanying spaces, is convicingly thought to arouse special interest in both tourists and the resurgence of the bazaar. Even after the intervention it will again be the same Suli Han, with the same function, in the same situation plan, but in different circumstances and conditions as opposed to its functioning in the past.
