The Cultural Palace was designed in 1930 by the architect Victor Smigelschi, and its purpose was to host cultural events. In 1995 a significant fire burnt down most of the building and it remained a ruin until 2012, when the municipality initiated a project for the regeneration of the building, with a new flexible multipurpose hall.

The house is located in the historical city centre of Granollers and placed into an urban fabric of dwellings between party walls. The available space is narrow and elongated and accessible from two streets. Owing to the dilapidated state of the existing building, only the main façade could be maintained.

The residential complex consists of four residential buildings, kindergarten and commercial services. It frames a structured public space in form of main communication axis surrounded by green areas and small playground. Publicly open community garden with fruit-trees and barbecue is integral part of the complex.

The project is an extension to and reconfiguration of a listed C19th art gallery. The extension encapsulates the previously unresolved rear of the building creating a new park frontage, visual connections and transparency. Although extended by a third, public space has doubled. A new sculpture terrace at the front provides gracious, step-free access.

Lazika Municipality is a rectilinear experiment in the vertical displacement of solid mass. The ambition of this project was to make a building as a sculpture made out of one material. Apartment building Prule is located on the riverbank of Ljubljanica river, in a protected neighbourhood of villas from 1930’s, bordering the city centre. It replaces an older structure, a villa that once stood on the site.

CONO Cheesemakers wished in 2006 to replace the current cheese dairy and stay in the Beemster Polder, after all the production of the Beemsterkaas belongs in the Beemster Polder. Beemster (1612) is most famous Dutch reclaimed land, since 1999 a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The design for the cheese dairy had to be indebted to the DNA of the polder .
