The Standaertsite project was a bottom-up initiative led by local residents. It proposed to deconstruct and transform the existing urban block interior into a green space and community centre. Since its completion, the project has become the beating heart of Ledeberg, a dense, 19th-century working-class neighbourhood in Ghent.

The Maternity and Children hospital is made up of two longitudinal and staggered volumes attached to the University Hospital of Torrecárdenas building in it west side. The intervention configures a new façade to the city and it comes to complete the portfolio of services of the entire hospital complex, making it a national reference hospital.

Dexamenes date back to the early 1900s, when the concrete tanks were built on the coastline, for wine fermentation and export overseas. The conversion of the site into a hotel intended to highlight its brutality with interventions in a complimentary palette, showcasing the raw beauty of the existing buildings leaving them relatively untouched.

The LocHal is the new public library of the City of Tilburg. A former locomotive hangar has been transformed into a public meeting place. It revives a former industrial area on ‘the wrong side of the tracks’ into a vibrant mixed-use district. The LocHal exemplifies how a city’s industrial history, can form the roots for a new symbol of public life.

Originally a seventeenth century Capuchin monastery, the structure had been used as a hospital for over 150 years. Half House is a studio extension and ground floor refurbishment of a typical unplanned Bosnian ‘family house’.
