Learning in Architecture
This exhibition brings together a group of the most important works of architecture built in Europe that have excelled in shaping places where we learn: from a kindergarten to a university building and from libraries to public spaces. All have an essential role in the way we learn
This unique group of five works has been built all over Europe and carefully chosen by leading architects such as Tatiana Bilbao, Toyo Ito, Ricky Burdett, Beth Galí, Carme Pinós and Fritz Neumayer among others. They have been members of the juries of the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture / Mies van der Rohe Awards who, every two years, choose those works of architecture that better define the present moment of our society through architecture.
From cities to rural and natural sites, the quality of the places where regulated learning takes place is as important as the quality of the places where we continuously learn to acquire better knowledge.
